YAY! it's 10.44am on a beautiful friday!
i just chucked in my 2000 words psychology essay which got me super stressed and strictly isolated myself from msn for the past week!!

i claim today to be my happiest friday for this semester. it's history!
well, kind of

in case people don't know, i'm having my 2 weeks term break!!!!

just by thinking of it make me horny happy...
2 weeks of plain tv series, late night chats, blogging, photoshopping, photography, hahax-ness with The Pies, eat-outs, movies and mindless past-times!! the best of all have to be... i can finally give my drained brain a rest!
i stil have one macro essay due right after the break though but not like i would give a fuck now!

the past 2 weeks had been hell, i have to say...

anyway, gotta ditched depressing stuffs and look on the bright side.

it rained in the morning today.
for once, i luv walking on the streets while sniffing the air where the mild smell of rain stil lingers. the city has been cleansed by a refreshing shower. flowers are blooming, trees are growing back their leaves... things can't be any better.
besides, listening to Snow Patrol just gives out the feeling that you are starring in a music video... everything seems so unreal.

just a thought,
if i ever have a baby girl, i will call her "Spring", like a pet name or sumthing.
if she turns out to be hot like Jessica Alba HAWT (highly unlikely), i will change her name to "Summer".

here are some planned activities for the break. it's still expanding though. DEFINITELY

1. do yee's make-up for her Medic Ball tonight
it's been sooooooo long since i last did a full face make-up. my skills are getting rusty for sure.

i wonder when will i attend a ball in the Uni. since jess and shan would be attending the Law Ball instead of the Commerce Ball so there left no one else to go with me.
what's the fun if you don't get to minggle with your girlfriends HOURS BEFORE the actual Ball?! all the giggles and girlie stuffs to do to make yourself looks like a star for that night. let's not forget the ball dress hunting trip though. everything is just phenomenal.
*SIGH*

hopefully Yee would enjoy to the max tonight. i know she would.

we are gonna make a trip to the Ikea with The Pies then have a fabulous dinner on sunday. OMFG. i LOVE ikea!

going to Ikea is like an exciting family outing as my dad will drive the huge and spacious Estima out although there's only 3 of us

whenever i go back to malaysia, it's a MUST that i will pay a visit to Ikea and Ikano. me and my family ALWAYS go without having anything neccesary in mind but ALWAYS ended up with bags of stuffs at the check out counter.

besides, even their food is nice and neat and simple, just like their furnitures.

i will definitely have lunch there at the ikea canteen. we will just SHARE a glass of soft drink becoz it's REFILLABLE! asians ma, what do you expect...

then, we will buy a dozen of curry puffs home and i will get their RM1 vanilla ice-cream no matter what!

last but not least, THEIR JAMS AND BISCUITS ARE TOTALLY AWESOME! seriously, their strawberry jams... the best ever~

6. clean my room.... meh

i have so many things which i wanna blog about. i need to blog about my Bali trip although it was like centuries ago.

i reckon people could get someting from reading my Bali posts... u know ... from what to do and what not to do in Bali to what are the market prices for the local goods!

Annoucements

1. i'm sick, so it's better to stay away from me. i have cough + flu + wee bit of fever. well, people can stil chat wif me since u wont get my virus via msn.

2. my laptop is fucked up because i accidentally split water on the keyboard. some of the keys aren't working while as for some, they wil go haywire. for example, when i press "k", the letter "6" will appear on the screen instead. i'm stuck wif my desktop which doesn't have many of MY stuffs in it. damn it.

3. I MAY NOT BE GOING JAPAN ANYMORE!!! we were intended to go on the 21st but we canceled it. this is because of the australia student visa shits, i'm afraid things don't work out in time. i'm making a HUGE sacrifice here. well, if things are settled before 21st, there's stil a tiny chance of me going. PRAY HARD! however, since my mom said we havn't gone to any family vacation together yet, we may spend a short holiday somewhere.

4. i'm in luv with gays and pretty boys. OMG! i'm a freako!

5. it hurts me when i hear chinese new year songs playing in malls. this is a sign of me going to leave for melbourne soon. it's just SAD! i always thought chinese new year was fun but now, it means tears.

6. i'm addicted to KINGDOM HEARTS 2 on ps2. thankx to ivan for downloading for me. i play the game whenever i have time. i've gone pretty far in the game. it's fun hitting stuffs in games. it kinda relieve my anger and rage in a healthy way.

7. i can finally play the songs from my ipod while i'm driving in the car now! i stil wanna get the Bose speakers for my ipod as well. i've bought quite a lot of ipod related stuffs lately. i'm just too in luv with my ipod. it has become a spoilt. haha.

9. i've been listening to Ben Kweller and OK Go quite alot. i luv the OK Go music video when they were dancing on treadmills. it's just too cool. i been blasting my car stereo wif DJ Tiesto's stuffs these days. the sound system in my Toyota Vios sucks so bad that i had to take my mom's BMW instead. hmm... is that a good thing or a bad thing? lol

Nose Bleed

i'm back in malaysia for 3 weeks now and i'd only posted 2 posts. i'm too lazy. anyway, it's not the main point about this post. this post is solely dedicated to my frigging nose bleed. i never had any nose bleed for the past 17 years of my life until i started studying in melbourne australia in 2006. i had my very first nose bleed during steph's birthday dinner, i could never forget that. it's too memorable and embarrassing. i was totally freaked out too.

i was scared because blood was coming out from a place it shouldn't have. i was shaking really badly. it was just horrible. since then, i had 4 nose bleeds after that. I DON'T WANNA DIE FROM A FRIGGING NOSE BLEED! yesh, thats what i have in mind everytime i have nose bleed.

i was told that the nose bleed is caused by the over dry air of the winter in melbourne so i thought i'm gonna be safe when i'm back in malaysia. however, i'm wrong. i had my nose bleed again in malaysia when i was eating a hot and spicy claypot noodle. argh.

everyone is really worried now. as for my mom, she bought some traditional medicines for me. i was forced to gulp down a big cup full of bitter soup/tea/liquid she prepared and she made me swallow some pearl powder. urgh. it's was horrible beyond all reason. now, i'm so afraid of nose bleed that i won't even dare to breath any wee bit harder. i wil breath through my mouth when i feel a weird sensation in my mouth or trout or nose.

*sigh* i guess i can't run away from this curse because it runs in the family. my granddad and my dad used to have nose bleed really often.

oh well, when problems occurred, i turned to GOOGLE for informations and cures and i found some outrageous ways of stopping nose bleeds:

*INGREDIENTS: mettle scissors
INSTRUCTIONS: take a cold pair of mettle scissors and put them on your back hold there for a few minutes and your noes will just stop bleeding

*INGREDIENTS: tiny rolled up piece of toilet paper or facial tissue
INSTRUCTIONS: rolls up a piece of tissue and stuck it up your lip right above your upper teeth. I tried this tonight when I got a bloody nose, and it worked in less than a minute.

*INGREDIENTS: Freshly sliced onion
INSTRUCTIONS: This is a great home remedy from our age-old Ayurveda and it works every time. At the onset of a nose-bleed, make the person lie down with the head tilted back, slice a big chunk of onion and place it under the nose. The fumes from the raw onion act as a natural coagulant and the bleeding stops in a few seconds.

*INGREDIENTS: matches, vaseline OR lip gloss
INSTRUCTIONS: As soon as you feel a nose bleed coming on get a match and light it, blow it out and then breathe the smoke up the side of the nose that is bleeding. Do this GENTLY, do not sniff hard! That will make it worse! When you do this, make sure that the smoke goes up your nose. You will be able to tell that it has because you will have a smokey taste in your throat. the great thing is that it will stop the nose bleed almost instantly.

*INGREDIENTS: slinder or regular tampons and vicks vapor rub,qui-tip
INSTRUCTIONS: first cut the tampons at least in half (long ways) put vapor rub on qui-tip then rub it at the very edge of the nose. insert the cut part of the tampon in your nose.it works much better than using toilet paper or paper towels..it should stop within 10 minutes

*INGREDIENTS: ice
INSTRUCTIONS: just put some ice in your mouth and try and hold it to the roof of your mouth with your tongue and try to keep it there as long as u can bear the coldness it will stop the bleeding in seconds works every time for me and other people i know

*INGREDIENTS: water
INSTRUCTIONS: My Grandfather took a mouthful of water from a glass, pursed his lips and sprayed a fine layer of water into my face. He aimed for the bridge of my nose, but of course it went everywhere! I don't know if it was the shock of what he did, or if something else was at work but the nosebleed stopped as the water hit me. He told me it was an old Chinese remedy. It works.

so, after all the researches i've done, the conclusion for preventing or curing nose bleed is:

When you get a nosebleed, take some cayenne pepper right away. Red pepper, or chile pepper, or tabasco sauce will do. Take about a teaspoonful. Your nosebleed should stop within 5 minutes or less. Take cayenne pepper every day for the next few days or so, and try to eat foods spiced with cayenne pepper on a more regular basis. Cayenne pepper acts to stop all kinds of bleeding very quickly, you can even pour it directly onto a wound in an emergency. It helps keep vitamin C in the body longer. Vitamin C helps keep blood vessels strong. If you stop taking large dosages of vitamin C, you can get rebound scurvy, which can make bleeding worse. Cayenne pepper prevents this from happening. Green Vegetables are a source of vitamin K, which is also needed in trace amounts by the body to stop bleeding. Putting vaseline in the nose can help prevent nosebleeds from recurring during that time when the nose needs to heal after you have recently had a nosebleed. Things to avoid, which can cause excessive bleeding: asperine, alcohol, both of which thin the blood.
