back in the
Easter holidays, i tagged along with Jess and her friends all~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ the way to
Dandenong for the famous Miss Marple's scones
i think that place is about an hour way but that trip was SO WORTH IT!
i would so go again and
i'm definitely craving for more scones now.
urgh
the sky was seriously THAT blue that day which was awesome
well, the sky is always blue-er in the
suburbs!
can i move to the
suburbs please? and start a family there???

don't you just love the exterior of the place? a stand-alone cottage!
i absolutely absolutely adore that place which was super cozy and homey. the
waitresses were really helpful and nice as well.
when we were there, we were lucky that we only had to wait for 20 minutes. the other gang of friends who came way later, had to wait for an hour!!
also, the place doesn't do reservations so everything has to come down to plain luck
since we had 20 minutes to kill, we went to some nearby shops to have a look.
this super colourful toys store caught our eyes! i love stores that sell "rubbish"! (i.e. anything cute and useless)

after spending 10 minutes fooling around with
camwhoring props, we
eagerly went back to the cafe just
in case they gave our place to someone else! knowing how
kiasu we are! better to be safe than sorry
while waiting, we took more pictures outside of the beautiful cottage again

me.
jess.
carrina. run
huifinally it was our turn!! our table was ready~
check out the interior. love love love love love

there we ordered away~~~

behold and here are the
foooooooood pictures!

Left: smoked salmon fingers with eggs, cheese and more cheese. YUM!
Right: chicken pie which was
blooody tasteh. i especially love the mash potatoes

Left: Miss
Marples special waffles with vanilla ice-cream and berry sauce. this was a special dish which was not on the menu.
Carrina said she only managed to order the waffles 2 out of her 4 visits there! of course, the waffles were heavenly
Right: the sole reason that we were there!!
SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONES! with super milky cream spread and super authentic berry jam!

everyone wanted a piece of the waffles with vanilla I-scream~~~
we swept the plate clean in a matter of seconds =]

the cream spread and berry jam were refillable!
being the dodgy asians we are because they were
sooooooo fucking good, we had at least 4 refills :D

THICK THICK LAYER OF CREAM WITH OVERFLOWING BERRY JAM!!!!!!!!!!! can die
wahextremely contended with our food and the bill came.... which was cheaper than i expected
*thumbs up*
then, we took a bus up to Mount
Dandenong just to make our trip worth more than it already did

we could see
melbourne CBD from there
these pictures definitely didn't capture how breathtaking the view truly was

nice flowers too!
check out that furry leafy plant! exactly like those fake ones you can get from Memory Lane

ah
