this post is dedicted to all the malaysians who are studying abroad. YAY!!!! it's merdeka (malaysia national day) today!!!! so, WE!!! as anak malaysia!!!! we wore red and white shirt, blue pants and yellow underwear as a sign of showing respect to our home country. it's funny, when i was back in malaysia, i seldom give a damn about national day. the only thing i luv about national day is because we get public holiday on that day. no school. however, after studying here in australia for 6 months, i kinda feel proud about being a malaysian. people did asked if i'm either from china or hong kong but i will reply proudly:" I'm from Malaysia". haha. its kinda ironic but anyway... we are all borned in malaysia, no matter how yucky the country may be ... it's stil our home country =]
very patriotic huh. hehe
there are quite alot of malaysian students doing different things to show their respect here ... which include wearing batik, speaking bahasa all day, hanging up flag in Palmerston, Yit Ming and Felix even brought the flag along with them all day and as for those party animals... it's an excuse for them to go clubbing as celebration. haha.
currently blogging using yee's internet while listening to all the patriotic songs shan had downloaded. hahahaha. super funny.

ARGH!!!!! counting down to getting my internet back!! yeap, got my internet cut off... eventually, i realized how important internet is =]
i guess i have broken my record, no internet for 5 days!!! *applause* haha
this week is drama week, so everyone is busy watching other people's dramas as well as practicing and preparing for their own. i saw quite a few and i think they are all awesome!! the one that i luv the most is Mughny's which consist of Rainbow(legendary figure), Sam, Al and the japanese song guy (from televaganza). LOL!!! super hilarious. Mugny is the "Mugprah" as in a similar copy of Oprah. haha. super funny!! shan, yee and doreen had done theirs yesterday while i'm finally done with mine today!! ultimate happiness!! everyone said my group is the best among the 3 groups of my drama class. i hope Roger loves it. i luv my group members. we went through quite alot of things together which include laughter and grief because of this drama thingy. Tiana even fell sick few days back. we were pretty worried about her. oh my gosh, so many people turned up for the drama performance today, even Roger said its a really big crowd. after the 3 weeks long hard work, everything juz ended in 8 minutes. *wipe tears* feel kinda sad and happy at the same time.

V for Vendetta

phew~ finished my oral presentation for EAP yesterday. i guessed it should be fine bcoz Sara din give much bad comments =]
left drama!! and upcoming exams!!!
geez, its saturday again. another week is gonna end soon *sigh* TIME FLIES!!!
i woke up at 8am today, showered and had my breakfast. i have tonnes of maths work sheets left undone yet i don't feel like doing. DUH! lazy me. therefore, i browsed through the dvds i brought from malaysia and i saw the movie "V for Vendetta". xinli recommended me before so i thought i need to give the movie a try. i set up my own chill out area (bed), put my massive headphones on and start the movie.
GOSH!!! I HAVE TO SAY THE MOVIE WAS AWESOME!!!
the whole story is very clever. plots are unpredictable and exciting. good cinematography. talented casts as well: natalie portman and Hugo Weaving
although we cant see the face of V throughout the movie but the face behind the mask is Hugo Weaving who is an Australian actor starred in two of the biggest trilogies in film history – playing elf leader Elrond in the Lord of the Rings films and Agent Smith in the Matrix films. super cool.
i really like some parts of the movie with really clever camera techniques and graphical images. the whole story is really fresh. gosh, i luv the movie. a very clever way to depict a story which revolves around political issues and revolution (1000000000 time better than stupid HOI).
besides, there is issue of love between the 2 main characters. so touching. really. i almost cried when V died. very much similar to the phantom of the opera which is another favourite movie of mine. it's definitelly worth seeing *2 thumbs up*
finished movie, got nothing else better to do but sleep. i don't feel like doing maths but i HAVE to. i'll see how it goes later.
eeekkkk... i have drama practice in boon lee's house again later. my role is pretty tiring since i'm the key of scenes changing. anyway, i'll try my very very very best so not to let my drama members down.

PS: stupid Terrill a.k.a. tou fu lou!! called me Fei gou (fats in canton) and laffed at me ... GRRRR!!!! u juz watch out!!! and u owe me 6 bux!! and give me back my thumb drive!!

its the day right after HOI!! so its time to have fun and go crazy!!! i went to the all-american rejects' gig wif ivan!! wooo~ awesome!!
i wanted to go since june but i was terrified if i had to go alone. however, THANK U VERY MUCH, IVAN!! therefore, i got to go to the gig at the corner hotel.
gosh, both of us hadn't been to the place before at all. the place was like away from the city, kinda scary. they hav grafitti everywhere, it was pretty dark as well. both of us juz went up the tram and there began our journey. haha.
luckily we got to the right place, we started queueing to enter the gig. gosh! there were 2 guest bands gonna perform that night: hellogoodbye and Avalon Drive
eventually, the gig will only end at 12.15am. we were so worried if we get to go back since there won't be any tram or train services anymore after 12+am. but who fucking care!! haha. we just wanna listen to the good music and hav fun!! wooo~
after that, we went in at 8.45pm. wooo... we waited til 11.15pm when the crowd started to go mad. the people were hella crazy, they suqeezed the hell outta me. i was at the 2nd/3rd row at first which means i could even get head shots of them. i was so close to them.. wooo~ they r hella hot!!!! anyway,after about 45mins, i almost got pushed out of the crowd. argh!!!

Anyway, it was a great night. i hope i get to go more gigs in the future. hehe. however, i fucking stink after the gig becoz i think i had like zillions people's sweat on me.haha. then, i had to sleep for 2 days to recharge my strength. besides, i oso had body ache for 3 days. argh!!! crazy shits!!! but it's all worth the price.

PS: thanks ivan for buyin the tickets, finding the correct directions and carrying the frigging bag while moshing in the crowd. haha (sowwy bout all thus)
LAST BUT NOT LEAST!! hav to thank fan 4 for worrying bout me the whole night. i only reached home safely at almost 1am i guess. we were so lucky, we managed to get into the last train back or else we are dead.

FINALLY HOI IS OVER!! FOR GOOD!!!
managed to finish HOI on friday morning at 6am. gosh, din sleep at all for the night. last minute work really sucks! i'd handed in my HOI and PSY essay once and for all!!!! gosh, hella happy. however, the psychology essay really suck fart. i had printed out wif my printer then i went to my tutorial, Ian looked through my essay and found some mistakes wif bibliorgraphy, then i had to redo it and print it!! wlaau, after that, i gave him to check again, he found out more mistakes.. had to reprint... i asked him if marks will be deducted. well, guess what he said? "i can only tel u that u can't get full marks"!!! WALAU!!! anyway, i dun think i can get full marks anyway. last minute work, what do ya expect? as for my HOI, after i'd handed in, don't dare to read it anymore.. which is so funny. hahaha.

haha. due to lack of sleep, i fell asleep during maths tutorial in the morning and the HOI lecture, whahaha! after dinner, we had our "auty meeting": me, Shan, Yee, Jess. doreen went out that night anyway. hehe. i helped Steph wif her hair and make-up bcoz she wanted to go to the X-mas in August thingy. it was pretty successful anyway. hehe.

it's phoebe's birthday party in Element bar/bistro opposite lincoln sq. the food was served sumthing like buffet. we get grilled chicken fillets, scallops, calamari... and some fancy finger food which i don't know what is it. we had wines and champagnes as well. the food was pretty nice. me and tiana were juz kept hanging round the food area and waited for the food to be served. hehehe. quite alot of people were there. MOST of them are hong kees. well, of coz.. since phoebe is hong kee anyway. wow, her cake is MASSIVE!!! they said its like $100+. wooo~ hehe. all and all, the party was alrite. gotta thank her for inviting me anyway =) *hugglez*

i had drama practice after dinner yesterday. luckily boon lee's house is so near, just across the street. we were trying out all the scenes. gosh, we laffed so hard again. whenever i have drama practice, i will definitely laff till wanna pee. i laffed til wanna shit yesterday. LMAO. boon lee is the dumb character. GOSH!! HE'S SO FUCKING DUMB!!! Terrill is his boss so Terrill can always hit him through out the sketch. we were so loud, the person who stays downstairs came up and complaint. eeeekkk.. anyway, it was super duper hilarious. well, i have no idea if Roger's gonna like our piece. i'm pretty worried if the audiences won't be able to catch the jokes, then it will be very embarrassing. we had done 3 scenes, from 7pm til 11pm, i think. then the boys were hungry AGAIN... DAMN! THEY ARE ALWAYS HUNGRY!! so we went lygon for supper. we wanted to go Koko Black but the queue was hella long. Terrill and Boon Lee shared a large pizza, Tiana and i ordered a hot chocolate wif marshmellows each then Phoebe ordered a mars bar cake (SUPER AWESOME!) we laffed alot again in the cafe. hahaha. this drama group is super funny. ARGH!!!!

ESSAYZZ FEVER

yay! one EAP essay shit down!! 2 more bigger shits to go!! PSYCHOLOGY AND HOI!!!
psychology essay gonna worth me 20% and HOI is gonna worth me 30%. both due nex friday!
i managed to finish an outline and a few paras of my psychology essay. i showed Ian my plan and then i came back. psychology tutorials always end early. then for the maths tutorial this morning, po chong wasn't there (kinda miss her. LOL) so a guy came for the class, temporary. ish, we were there doing the sheets he gave us and that's all. he's boring, and he talks like uncle bruce. the accent is so frigging similar which is kinda annoying.
wooo~ wanna know why i get to stay awake without napping yesterday?? coz i drink V, the energy drink (they didn't pay me any advertising fees anyway) but its very effective. i stayed awake til 3am without the urge of collapsing onto my bed. mind you, i was doing my work on my bed bcoz my table is just full of junk. now, my bed is occupied by junks too anyway. well, essays period.. yikes!
